I want candy Oct 20, 2008
From the Desk of: David S. Wallens
Tonight we stocked up on candy, and of course I had to overanalyze the whole process. We get a lot of kids in our neighborhood, which means a lot of candy.
For one, gotta have Swedish Fish. They rule, period. They come packaged with Sour Patch Kids. It’s a good mix. You also have to have Hershey Miniatures. (Everyone knows that the Special Darks are the best.) Then I found a 200-count bag of mixed stuff. And to fluff up the pot, I also found a 180-count bag of Smarties. What’s better than raw sweetener?
And the crowning moment? While I picked out candy, Michele got new costumes for the dogs. I’m sure we’ll have photos soon.

- I love Swedish Fish! I once stuck half of one onto my dashboard of my Buick Skylark I ended up 'winning' in my divorce. It was there for about nine months before somebody stole the car and wrecked it. The look on passenger's faces was priceless once they got in and saw half a Swedish Fish staring back at them from the dashboard.
