I've heard that they are making the metal ones again. Toyota should have taken lessons from them - Tonka never had a rust through problem..

Yeah, they might make new metal Tonkas, but there's a LOT more plastic than there used to be. I'm on the lookout for one of these for when I have a kid. I feel a real Tonka truck and a real outdoor sandbox is a necessity for growing a kid right.

I think I only got a bloody nose. If you find an old Tonka dump truck with the sprung dump mechanism, make sure it's also still got the damper...
