Back from the ARRC Nov 8, 2010

David and I got back from the ARRC at Road Atlanta yesterday, and I think I’m finally thawed out. Crisp and windy all weekend, with a nice little thunder/hail storm to kick things off on Friday. Florida has made me weak when it comes to anything below 50 degrees. There were some good battles on track in several classes, and the Road America announcing team did a stellar job covering the action in real time, for several of the races I had the stereo on our Nissan Pathfinder cranked up so I could hear things clearly, and it really made for some fun spectating. Not a ton of foot traffic at the booth: the field was split between the old and new infield paddocks on each side of the track, which kind of decentralized things.
