There’s plenty to see and do at the Rolex 24 At Daytona: photo hunting is a great way to spectate and come away with some memories. Tom, Matt and I spent about half an hour before the midnight tour taking on-track photos, and my personal goal was to get some cool fireball shots of the RX-8s in the braking zone after the infield kink. Here are some of the best shots, I think my favorite is the white No. 69 SpeedSource car with the pure blue flame coming out the pipe. Personally, I think flame belching should be mandatory for all cars in a night race, the RX-8s really put the rest of the field to shame as they blow unburned fuel out the pipe off throttle.
