ADAC-Zurich 24 Hours of Nurburgring May 16, 2010

From the Desk of: JG Pasterjak

Hi from Germany. The good folks at KW Suspension are hosting a small group of fortunate American journalists this weekend at the legendary Nürburgring for their annual 24 hour race. Nearly 250 cars took the checkered flag for the main event, with the field ranging from factory efforts from Porsche, BMW, Lexus, VW and other manufacturers, to the European equivalent of amateur club racers.

With over 16 miles of track to cover (the 24 hour race uses the well-known Nordschliefe course, as well as the GP course, there’s a lot of real estate to cover, but I’m shooting photos and getting them posted as best I can. There’s a photo gallery from the race HERE.

There’s a photo gallery from the historic support race HERE.

And here’s the first video I cobbled together for the weekend, featuring highlights from the historic race, some pre-grid action, the RingWerke theme park and other assorted flora and fauna.

More coming soon.
