My S-series burns oil...

…they all do. No exceptions. A quart every 1000 miles is perfectly normal. Saturn will not do anything for you until it gets a lot worse than that, and it’s really not worth it for you to do anything yourself. Buy stock in Mobil and check oil level at every gas fill-up!

They only do it if your rings are carboned up. Do a Run-Rite and you'll see oil consumption go way down, to the point where almost all of your oil loss is from the head gasket/timing cover area by the power steering pump. You know, where they all leak. No exceptions.
