Easy cleanup for dirty hands.

Suggested by dr_boost

The next time that you’re about to start a real grimey job, grab you trusty can of WD-40 first!Spray some liberally on your hands, rub it in well, then wipe them off with a shop rag.The thin layer that’s left behind will keep the grime from sticking to your hands.

Works wonders on squeeky joints too. I tried it on my knees.

A few drops of Jergens hand lotion before you pick up a wrench gives your hands the same 'film' to make clean up easier, w/o the prolonged exposure to oil. And when it's time to scrub up, grab a handful of Tide detergent (the dry powder). The grit powers off grease better than Lava or Orange and is cheap… just watch those open cuts, it may tingle

I use gloves. Nitrile, and double bag it so you can shed the top layer quickly if it gets real greasy.

Laundry detergent works well when a little granular sugar is added to provide the scrubbing grit. The sugar dissolves as it's used, and is easy on the hands.

I've always used regular hand lotion and make sure you get plenty under your fingernails! It makes you smell purty!
