Fix for the infamous sammy starter problem!

Suggested by GameboyRMH
  1. Unplug the positive cable (the annoying speaker connector that gives trouble) from the starter motor. Leave battery plugged in at your own risk :P

  2. Clean both contacts as best you can.

  3. Smear a very generous amount of Vaseline onto the starter connector.

  4. Reconnect the positive cable to the starter. Make sure the connection is as tight as possible, squeeze the connector with pliers to bend it and make it fit tighter if you have to.

  5. Fire up your Samurai on the first try, every time. Worked for me! :)

GameboyRMH:
Okay so you may have to periodically add vaseline to the connection, it isn't a permanent fix, but it greatly decreases the chances of a “killer start.”
