Keeping your K&N clean

In an effort to keep my K&N cleaner and make cleanings easier, I use women’s knee high stockings. Just slip one (or two) over the cone and it keeps the large debris out of the ribs.

I used this method over a gutted HKS mushroom filter. Foam removed and Decent stocking material covered over the grill before replacing. It did get a few holes after about 1 month of daily use.
