Fitting properly in a race seat is not only a matter of comfort, but it can also be a safety concern. Many race seats, like the Kirkey Racing Fabrication seat in our project Z06, are built with generic sizing in mind. If you want the support or foam to get under your butt or legs do you need to pour some in before you sit down? It looked like none made it past your butt.

On the subject of safety... is the new foam FR treated? Do you fireblock it afterward?

The kit is "approved" which probably means it's way better than boat foam. We also covered it with fireproof fabric.
