Brings back a lot of memories.
My first time as a spectator was at the second course. The long down hill was not friendly to MG TD's.
I ran an SCCA drivers school on the 3rd course in '57. They had installed a chicane at the end of the back straight so we couldn't take that bend too fast. The bend proved to be a problem as cars got faster and they installed the bus stop.
In later years I attended a lot of races,the fall sports car grand prix was my favorite event. I did attend a few F1 Grand Prix,s.
In later years I drove around the original course. I have to say that those drivers had big ones.
Nascar this week end. I went to three of the early races.
