We ran into Jason L. Camps at the SVRA’s vintage race event at Indy. He was there to meet with Pulstar, one of the sponsors of his 2010 Camaro LS–yes, the V6 model.

“A couple of years ago I did my first track day and got hooked,” he recalls. “I immediately started autocrossing, mostly with the SCCA in central Indiana. This year I entered my first national Solo competition, the CAM Challenge East in Peru, Indiana, and next year I plan on making my ProSolo debut in Ohio.”

Jason admits that the car is lightly modded: Eibach springs, Hotchkis anti-roll bars, SLP exhaust, K&N intake, Pulstar spark plugs and Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position tires. “Something many find interesting, although it has nothing to do with my racing, is my engine cover,” he writes. “Since 2011, I’ve used it to collect autographs from over 130 GM employees and executives, motorsports media personalities, and racing team owners and drivers. It’s been signed by drivers from every series–Indy Lights to Formula 1–and it represents over 180 major touring series and major event championships. It only comes out for shows, but many find it the most interesting aspect of the car.”
