I'm sure they handled this already but, I would contact Police to run VIN before I did anything with that car.  I realize a storage Lien will result in ownership of it assuming the storage company put the lien on it, but I'm not sure how it would work if the car was stolen.  

Looks like a decent starting point for something if the title can be figured out.

The car was sold a half year ago.  No issues.

I hate not paying attention to thread start dates!!
