Tim and I are again serving as the mom and pop of this mom-and-pop business and cooking for everyone at the 3/31 track day at The Firm following the Challenge. I'm planning to make pulled pork again like I did last year, and we'll grill burgers and dogs (I'll make sure we have some Beyond burgers too). Can anyone who's planning to join us post here so I can get an idea of how much food we'll need? All are welcome!

I'm still not  100% sure about the Firm but this might just have convinced me! Thank you for the kindness!

Put me down for lunch, please. Probably have my father along so +1; He isn't allowed to track my car but he would likely appreciate a plate even more than I do.

In reply to tb :

I was hoping that even if people can't or don't want to participate in the track day, they'll still come out and enjoy lunch with the gang, so that's excellent news.

Scratch that +1, just me actually... thanks again!

I did sign up for the track day but might get bored being a rolling chicane and prioritize relaxation.

There aren't usually very many cars on track at any point in time, no need to stress about being a rolling chicane. It's actually a relaxed track day as such things go.

That sounds awesome! Big thanks to you and Tim for organizing this. I’ll be there and definitely looking forward to some pulled pork—last year’s was great! Appreciate the variety with burgers, dogs, and Beyond burgers too. Let me know if you need any help with setup or bringing something. Can’t wait for the track day and some good food! 🚗🔥

In reply to BillCuttitta :

I was mostly indulging in some self deprivation, I bet it it the most relaxed of days.

I only got my car finished a couple weeks ago and even though it is over budget and untested I am eager to have some fun!

Thanks again for the lunch and one of the best track days available. Maybe the firm is always like this but the laid back atmosphere is wonderful for being able to get on track and get comfortable quickly.

You'll need to log in to post.
