I have plans for the engine and trans, but this car is mostly gutted and would make a good starting point for a 24-Hours of LeMONS car or track car. Rolling chassis only. Located in San Luis Obispo, CA. Could be prepared in time for Buttonwillow race.
Also have lots of TDI parts available.
But here's an interesting idea: I'd be willing to help build (and drive) the car in a LeMONS race but don't have much cash to contribute...starving student and all. OK, I'm 50-year-old student and quite well fed, but not well funded right now. But I have a garage, tools, and a racing resume that includes countless SCCA Club (Regional and National) and Pro wins.
