Want to cement a top 10 finish with minimal work, and a ridiculous drag time? I'm giving serious thought to trading my MX6 for this.

Fix it, add nitrous, hold on, and crap yourself.
id sell the 427, drop in a EFI turbo 350, a much more proper 5 speed manual, a real rear end, and have a much more streetable challenge car.
Streetable schmeetable. This is awesome the way it is. I imagine the street tires quiver in fear every time this car was started, and that's the way i like it. 
my O-ring would quiver in fear everytime I started it, and as much fun as that would be, (and damn what a hoot we could have in that beast) Id also want to win the challenge, not die

I'm a sicko that REALLY loves the "YOU'RE GONNA DIIIIEEEEEE!!!!!" feeling of scary cars, soooo.....
I guess that explains the MX6... this thing would give the Phostiva a run for it's money for attempting to take up both lanes at once on the drag strip.

Agreed. The problem would be coming up with that price. I really need another daily driver. This doesn't quite fit the bill. I would definitely drive it every day in summer, my commute isn't that long, but this probably wouldn't be fun in winter.
