Needs throwout bearing but new battery packs. Also Florida paint but the interior looks pretty nice.

I think it needs a new battery, not has a new battery.

Looks like a prime candidate for a K20.

This is one of those "take a swing" cars. It might only need a couple of sticks like mine did and they were about $30 a stick on ebay. Orrrrrr..... it might be dead. They really are terrible to drive. 

It's the slowest car you'll ever drive. Think slow, then get that out of your mind and think 10x slower. It will cruise 80 mph down the highway, but it takes a while to get up to speed

Why do I feel they are questioning my ability to make it faster?

Here in SoCal, they are available regularly for cheap...

We have a ton of hybrids and all electrics here and there is a state $2500 rebate so the used market is limited. I got my 2013 Volt for $7900 which is the cheapest I've seen just about anywhere.
