Anyone need a V6 Capri engine and four speed trans? Got the complete set-up, engine, bell, trans., shifter, etc. still assembled as removed.
Ran fine when pulled out of the MG Midget, been sitting for a couple of years now. Was going into my Austin, but sold the car. Too many projects !
Located in Massachusetts near Plymouth Rock. Just $100. Worth way more, but if someone here can use it, that's great.
Do you know which engine this is, 2.6, 2.8 or 2.9?
Heck put it one e-bay UK and see if shipping doesn't work against you. 
Cologne V6 family?
Not sure of the size, not sure how to tell. Sorry. It's either an Essex or a Cologne engine the distributor (front or rear) will tell. I can check if anyone wants. Just found the brand new water pump that came with it, so there's that.
2.6 has siamese exhaust ports (total of two ports per head). 2.8 and 2.9 do not. Don't remember an easy way to tell 2.8 from 2.9, but I've had a couple 2.8 Capris, so if you post a pic, I might be able to figure it out.
Edit: if it came out of a European Capri, it isn't a 2.9. They only came with 2.6 and 2.8 engines.
