There seem to be a lot of Chinese knock-offs in this department...
I have a 2 post symmetrical lift I am considering selling. It is a 7000 lb Western. It's overbuilt (unlike new ones)- I have lifted my 8500 lb truck many times without incident. This was a former tech school lift- it's really well built.
I have moved it twice. It's a bit of a bear.
I really don't have the space for it in my new place, but I totally love having it. I am not sure I can part with it, but the price might influence me.
What's a lift like this worth these days?

i bought my 2 post asymmetrical Rotary lift for $1k , but i had to remove and install it.
About 400-500$ in that shape out here in California.
The new Chinese ones are very very nice for the price now.
$500.00 to $1,000.00 here in S FL for old ones like that IF it can be tested before purchase and the buyer is removing.
Package deal with the Europa? What's the power requirements?
Mark me interested at the right price.

Why do I get the feeling that searching for Stampie's "right price" could be very costly to me??

I've seen lifts like that set up outdoors. Even up here in the snow belt. Any chance for that in the new place?

In reply to Ian F :
Pretty sure that would not make the HOA excited.
Sterling Marlin, the independent NASCAR guy had an outdoor car lift at his hole in the wall race shop. I've always admired the tenacity of that guy.

Paint it brown and hang fake tree limbs off the posts?
"Lift? What lift? It's just a couple of trees"
Pretty sure I'm pretty interested.
LOL Add me to the pretty interested list. Dad would love this, and he's putting in a new shop soon.

Not sure where it would fit in the garage man. If the neighbor across the street grumbles about a Porsche sitting next to the driveway....
There’s a guy near me that sells similar used lifts for $1200 installed.

Lol-I think the Citi-Cars showing up is when he finally snapped. Hopefully he won't have me to look at much longer-we are looking to move. A lift worthy garage is high on the priority list.

Ok guys. It’s for sale.
Make me an offer. Package deals with a Europa move to the front of the line. (Stampie’s out).
$950. Will help load.
I need to be out if my old house in a couple weeks. If you wait until I remove it and relocate it to my new house, you may never get it.
How much does an install usually cost?

No idea. I’ve done it myself twice. It’s not hard.

If people are giving you a hard time about the Porsche, you can still return it for a full refund. I’ll even waive the restocking fee.

You mean like if you give him the lift he will take the Europa?
If I had a place to put the lift, I would be interested in it. Alas, I do not.
