i may or may not be laughing like a mad scientist.
I have watched this thread with lots of joy and being suitably impressed by the pace. I hope you are keeping the dome light that is shown in the last pic.

I just pulled it out of the scrap pile. You're a genius.
I hope you do some kind of classic MoPar graphics mashup on this. The blacked out 340 wedge hood comes to mind, maybe with LS1 in place of 340 and swap in place of wedge. Or an AAR stripe. Or a billboard with LS1 instead of 340. Or make some clips to attach dog dishes to the NASCAR wheels.

As it would happen, I have a vinyl cutter.
What's the plan for the body's interior metal? Paint the same color as the body or possibly bedliner? or would that be too heavy ?
In reply to Gambit :
satin black for the interior side of the roof and upper surfaces. should be a nice contrast to the machine grey of the rest. bottom of the windows down will be light machine grey like the chassis.
or at least thats the plan today...

So, i will DEFINITELY be talking with you.
Can you do multicolor stuff?

Thanks! I truly can't wait to see the two combined. Its going to be AMAZING. at least in my head.
cuts and sharps ground down, wire wheeled and shot in satin black.
Im done for today. I tripped getting out of the shell and faceplanted the concrete. Figure that is a sign for quitting. I hurt.
Tomorrow, dad dustin and i hopefully get the two mated. We are breaking out the oxyacetyline for the rockers. Plasma aint froggy enough to go through them.

Ya. That's just 2 cuts, then you overlay them.

If you're willing to do those let me know how much I owe you. Would love to play with that before final paint.
lots of staring and measuring this morning. Chassis is still 2 inch hight at rail height than body.
A pillar tubes may be the problem. Or, the body may have some extra gap above the halo tubes to roof. Or....
Time for more coffee until dustin gets here.
