This is so true it's ridiculous.

So today, miyuki had something of a public unveiling. She went to visit her friends nani the ms3, the rotary miata, the not rotary miata, the engineless fb (which is why the miata is a rotary) the sti-r Subaru, and the fiat. not shown are the Subaru, the rotary miata, and the fiat. A few people here probably recognize this house... And maybe why I might be here. You see, when one wants say.... A custom sticker made, this is a good place to go. hehehe. Awww yeah.

Whose house? Runs house!
Sorry, I had to. Its m friend Erik.
There has been a change of plans. Due to Erik actually not doing things the hard way all the time, he suggested rather than try to Frankenstein two spoilers together to get the hipposleek look, I just build one out of foam core and glass it. Since I was going to have to glass it anyhow, this makes a lot more sense. Erik wins a cookie, and I need to figure out what foam is best for sanding on before I wrap in in fiberglass. Off to the surfboard forums.
Are you making some wagan spoiler type thing for the 'Rolla? I'm not sure what I think but am willing to keep an open mind.
Also found a 94 Saturn wagon with a blown motor and manual trans on Craigslist for like $500. Must resist because it would cause divorce.

Yeah, I want a bigass stagea-r wing for it. If you look back, I posted a pic of a Subaru legacy with a hipposleek wing on it. That's the idea, though maybe not that shape. Pulsar sti-r is another place to look, or lancer wagon, or whatever they call.them in Japan.

Story of my life. I was looking at wagons on Craigslist again last night and my wife was less than amused. When asked "how many wagons do you really need?", answering "more" is not a good plan of attack.
Try more because more, or all next time. It generally throws my wife off enough she leaves me alone.
Talked to my body guy. He's basically on board with my plan, and pointed me to his composite supplier. Wouldn't you know it, they specialize in Motorsport applications. Place called express composites in Minneapolis.
I like #2 above. The spoiler on spoiler look of the other is little much IMO, BUT this isn't my car so whatever makes Miyuki happy

Which I am seeing similarities to the Legacy mndsm posted earlier. ha ha.

My wife thought this was hilarious and agreed that my suggestion of replying "all" next time is the proper course of action.
I actually may have mine on board to bring home another saab wagon (from Maryland) if all works out!! I could be rollin' deep to wagonfest.
Yeah, I need to get that moving. I've Beem trashed since I got back, and the wife has been Ill so its chase the mini wrecking machine around all day.
Last time I saw an Accord wagon with my quasi-gf, I said "WANT" very loudly, she disgustedly asked "WHY?" and I told her "Get out of the car" while I hit the lock button.
She didn't buy me lunch, as she promised earlier, that day.
So, last week while in MN, I ran across this gem in the parking lot at work: This is what typical cheap econo cars from the early 90's look like in MN if they even still exist at all. Makes driving a corolla wagon across half the country make a lot more sense.
This car has more rust than metal underneath. The sills are rotted so much that I really question whether this car could be put on a lift. Not sure there is much under there that can support it. I figure it will fold in on itself when it hits the next big pothole. Hopefully the person driving it has something nice that is at home in the garage tucked away for the winter away from the salt.
No inspections in MN otherwise there would be a lot of cars off to the crusher. T%he rear bumper is being held on by a bungee cord on the passenger side as the bumper support it rusted away. What a mess.
And now everyone knows why I flew to Maryland for miss miyuki. She has one spot of rust. Early Toyotas don't do well as lifers here.
On a side note, how arrested you think I'd be if she glowed in the dark?
You'd be fine. I still want neons under a car. I thought they were awesome when I was 17, I think they're awesome now.

See, I have this idea. A long time ago I figured out where to buy glow in the dark pigment. Just the powder. My plan is to mix it in with some fashion of clearcoat/ink and build a custom marker (its amazing how resourceful crims are sometimes, this is a trick I learned from graffiti doods) and overlay the hood. So during the day, it looks, normal. At night, there's a whole secondary design. I'm just not sure how often I want to be hassled by the cops. I consider court a sport (my standing record is six ticket discharges at the same time) but if I don't have to it makes life easier.
