The previous owner/builder was different.  He did thing his way. He could give a hoot how you reacted to his way of doing things.  His demons were many, they got him.

His daughter is tasked with cleaning up his affairs.  There is a lesson I need to take heed of, later.

I have known of this car for years.  If it did not make the car faster it has been removed.  If it added to the race car vibe, it has it.  The car has not been on the road for years.  I do not think the tags are current, it could be non opted.  Not likely.

It is to early in the process to know any details.  The garage is right out of an episode "hoarders are us". It could include what is missing from the car,  if we are lucky.

But, a Capri with flairs is the prize. It is ruff, no idea if it is a runner.  Rust is not an issue.  It has lived in a garage covered by stuff for years.

I even know the back story about the built short block on the engine stand.  And why it never got installed in the car.

But the flairs, on a V6 Capri.  With tires that fill the flares.  I remember the look,  it haunts me.

Got to try.

Okay, first of all, I'm in for a follow.  Secondly, if oxygen was in contact with it, a Capri can rust.  Definitely interested in seeing pictures and already a little jealous.
