The beast is back together and happy to be brapping away. I took the car to an autocross type event on Sunday in 90 degree heat - no issues with cooling whatsoever.
I was also putting the scare into a 600hp modified C6 Zo6. The suspension needs serious refinement and the rear hatch is just a test piece, but the car feels pretty good right now and I'm excited it's back on the track.

Meanwhile, the LeMons RX7 is coming along nicely.
We certainly won't be winning races based on our looks....
Last photos I promise. My shopmates E46 makes the RX7 look small. This is funny to me.

Mt. Ascutney is this weekend, so I'm doing a little prep.
First off, I was kindly asked to "get a real door card before you come back". I guess my Racing Beat carboard door car was no longer welcome.

I also covered the rear air scoops with black vinyl to pretty them up, and then tossed on some go fast stickers I had collected over the years of building this thing. I didn't take any dedicated photos.
Took care of a few other odds and ends and then..... Discovered that the passenger side rear shock isn't dampening movement... No signs of being blown, but it definitely isn't doing anything. I'll run it as it is this weekend and source a replacement since I won't have time to get a new one beforehand and my only other option is my seriously bagged out Koni Yellows.
