* Price drop. $2500 * now $2300 with brand new tires.
Help me buy my dream bike (that I didn't know I wanted till recently)
After finding a deal on a parts bike for my old 88 K75, and "the financial manager" approved the purchase, she said I have to sell the 87 I bought recently. I found out I needed more faring to hide behind, now that I'm old and decrepit!

So, it is a 1987 K75S in Red (metallic) that they later called Mystic Red. Has a bit less than 55K miles on her. Had a bit over 53 when I bought, and just haven't ridden to work that much. Only problem at all I had was the gas cap, and I have a new original cap for it now. New fuel lines in tank, and will be replacing all external lines as well. I'll post more details later, but will let the pictures be my sales manager for the moment:

I have new hinges for the panniers, but have not put on yet. I removed the bar backs for the stock riding position, but we could talk about them. I have three different seats, in various conditions, so that is a negotiating point as well.

It has a progressive suspension 412 shock on the back; better shock than stock, and less than a used stock shock, but there are better for not much more. This one shows some signs of age, but seems to ride ok. A replacement would be either a cosmetic, or upgrade reason. I assume it also has their front springs, as well, but have not pulled 'em out to verify. Rides good, and runs good as well.

The original color paint, I think is a respray; although an obviously top quality job, it is showing some age. Still shiny, and looks great from 10 feet back. The gas cap area has not held up well, but that is a common problem with BMW original paint, and that stuff was tough! Doesn't appear to have had any bodywork, so if it is a respray, it was just due to fading.

Totally open to possible trades with another K bike... a running, or almost running K1100RS, a K100RS or a K75RT. trade either way, but if up, it couldn't be by much, or SWMBO will likely throw me out!

If anyone remembers the pure 90s multi color paint on a K75C with the aftermarket fairing that was posted some time ago, I finally got ahold of him. No easy task!  But I like what he had to say about it, and want to get it. If I can sell my 87 S for $2500, that leaves me enough for a set of tires on the C, and gives me enough faring to hide behind, to ride to work in various weather!

So instant price drop, to $2500!
Ya still only get one of the seats, but you can pick from the three. The gunfighter is in best shape, but dual canyon is most liked

I would mix and match parts from my two parts bike, and the C and have exactly what I want, with spare parts for later!

If someone can change the title from $3200, to $2500, I would be appreciative. cheeky

I have been let go from the nights maint. job I had... am at least working a semi local short term contract. I found a large fairing bike I can almost afford, so am lowering my price again...  $2300, and I have brand new tires for it. Front has been mounted, after noticing more age cracking than I thought.
Has a smoke Aeroflow screen since these pictures, and a dual bucket Corbin seat.

And , again, if a mod wants to change the price in the title from the original high price, to the current $2300, I would appreciate it.
maybe no one noticed the last time

Aaargh. I love K75Ss and have zero space to store one. I may have to buy the motor home as well to have a place to live if I bought this BMW.

GLWS!

BTW, since I have not done any of the stuff I need to do before putting the monster rv on the open market, we are very negotiable on the price for it at the moment, as well blush

i need at least half in cash, but open to trading on the rest! And if it's something I truly need, and The Financial Manager approves, you'll  like the exchange rate. If it's only me that likes the trade, we can prolly still work it out. Remember, bikes take less space than cars do devil

I'll even include a bike cover, an flying bricks fare better outdoors than most any other bike!

SHMBO just said that if someone one with a trailer big enough for the bike and at least one other project that needs to leave, they can stay in the big motor home while here, AND she'll do their laundry!

Heck, come on by for a visit, at any rate! Welcome anytime.
I have a JCB backhoe in very rough shape... and the casting for the main arm is busted around the pin someone  allowed to get WAY too sloppy. And a 3 axle 20 ton deck over trailer with it.

A 98 Astro AWD needing work, but cheap. No rust!

99 Astro RWD prepped for towing. Need interior. Some body work, but again no rust. Waiting for me to replace head gasket, but I can do in a weekend to prove how good it runs. Not as cheap, but good work van value.

Dodge magnum. 2.7 overheated, due to deer damage to from end. Twice! Prolly not worth fixing back as a DD, but 300 would get it. Might make the scrap yard  one day.

Any of the some what cool stuff has gone, besides the Big Boy motorhome.

Can reference the ad on here for the Kingsley Coach, as well as more pictures, but Tim noticed it was in one of the bike views:

It's a 2000 Kinglesy Coach 46 1/2 foot long coach, made on a 95 FLD 120. Cat 10L (I think 3176?) Same externally as 12L. 350 hp, around 1100tq. Has a 4 speed Allison slush box behind it. Brand new trans installed about 10 - 15 K miles ago. Brand new 24.5 tires on front 3000 miles ago. New air bags in back. Rear 22.5 tires in back will age out long before tread wear. 7500 Onan Quiet Diesel gen set.
$80K when I ever finish a bunch af small stuff... real negotiable at the moment!

(will pay a lot of bills till I get another job!)

not a great picture, being under the carport, at night, but shows the Dual Canyon Corbin seat, and the Areoflow windscreen. Kinda shows my custom made "C" bars. I took some RT bars, cut 3" out of, and made then slightly "flatter". I like them better than BMW C bars. I still have the stock S bars to go with it.

In reply to spitfirebill :

For those on the fence, although a great bike, it does have some cosmetic challenges that do not show in the pretty outside pictures! Does still look good, but:

couple minor paint flaws like that, and

the somewhat typical gas cap area paint damage blush
