Yes, this is the same VW I tried to sell last year. It's a hell of a fun car, but the Challenge C3 beckons. Though I could be persuaded to trade for a Fiero or X1/9.

Hard to say. These can pull decent money stockbut im.not sure on the modified market.
I keep coming back to this hoping that it's sold. I have no real need for it, and no room to store it, and no time to work on it, but that doesn't stop me from wanting it.
I don't think you're asking too much - especially with the rollbar kit - but it's a very particular car for an odd market. Maybe a good one to post on a specialty Facebook group if you have a faceballs or a friend with one?
Maybe include the thought that it's a potential ChampCar/endurance car if the owner finishes out the cage?

I'm about ready to throat punch the next clueless FB buyer to be honest. Selling the PriusC was tough enough. Thank the Universe Curtis bought it. But it might be the only path forward.
You need to post this to the scirocco list. Used to be a very active email list group that I imagine has now moved to facebook...
I still miss having the opportunity to buy a ten year old 16v Scirocco ($3500, and only 37k miles!) but if I were to revisit that nostalgia, I'd want one with a full interior.
I realize that this will also add a digit to the value of a 16v Scirocco.

Yeah, I probably should not have sold off the interior, or the bumpers, or the sunroof.
