Super clean, tastefully modified 88' GTX. One of 1243 produced and who knows how many are left. Factory rally car with 50/50 split AWD, locking center diff, and DOHC turbocharged 16V. This is my third GTX and the cleanest example.

Very rare and hard to come by in this condition. Rust free example with lots of motor and brake upgrades.  Asking $7000 may consider trades for Miata, E30 convertible, boxster, etc. Feel free to email joshw02@yahoo.com with any questions. Lots of pictures available. Car is located in northern Colorado. Thanks.

In reply to calteg : I'll confirm today. I believe roughly 150-160k chassis mileage and around 60k on the short block.

IIRC, Mazda actually reinforced the unibody on the GTX to ensure that it stood up to the rigors of rally. Such a cool car!

That's a pretty tasty spec sheet and looks good. Even has Dirtas! If anyone's looking for a GTX, this  looks to be a pretty solid choice. It will not depreciate.

Trade for Miata and in CO...I don't need another one. Do I? I don't. Right?

I think you do need another one, as you said in https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/vintage-views-mazda-323-gtx/94727/page1/ "I've thought about hunting down my old one again."

If I wasn't already buying an off-roader, I'd love to have this.  Looks super clean and well set up.  GLWS.

I haven't seen one that clean in a really long time.

That is so clean!

Mitsubishi OZ racing wheels too?

This would be amazing in the stock AWD class in SCCA Rallycross, most likely the mods push it into mod AWD and it would still excel there.

All the stamped metal from the firewall forward is thicker. Not sure about the rest of the body.

If I wasn't up to my neck in a pile of parts for my latest project for my son's first car I would be flying to Colorado.

GLWS, I hope it sells before I shift stuff around in my shop and find room for it.
