1999 MAZDA MIATA Turn Key track car and tire trailer and spare parts   PRICED FOR QUICK SALE $4,500

Green Emerald Mica with tan top.  Car is in very good condition top to bottom.

Car was a garage kept daily driver until I got the opportunity to coach at track days for Hooked on Driving and PDE (7yrs).  I drove to all the events, tracked it and drove home without any failures.  For reference, the closest track was 300 miles and the farthest was 700 miles one way.  I have owned this car for 17 years.  I averaged 24-25 mpg pulling the trailer and you forget it’s back there until you look in the mirror.

Timing belt, water pump, main seal and tension pulley done at 107K.

The car has the following mods:

  • Flying Miata sway bars.
  • Flying Miata frame rail braces w/butterfly brace.
  • Flying Miata Vmaxx coilovers and shocks
  • Flying Miata Happy Meal clutch kit with Fidanza 11 lb. flywheel
  • Boss Frog rollbar
  • Stainless steel brake and clutch lines
  • Recently replaced master, clutch and slave cylinder and calipers
  • Engine is stock with 130K on Mobil 1 except for Fab 9 coil on plug conversion and 01 Header
  • 5 speed w/Redline fluid
  • New CSF dual Row radiator, coolant reroute kit and AGM Battery
  • Sparco flat bottom steering wheel
  • A/C, PB, PS and aftermarket cruise control
  • 205/50-15 Yokohama S. Drives on stock rims – 7/32 tread
  • Also includes Kosei 15x7 rims
  • Stock seats with reworked padding to lower seating position

Spare parts – frog arms brace, 3 coil on plug, 2 stock coils, cam sensor, throttle position sensor, Flying Miata springs, and stock Nardi wheel and airbag.

Tire trailer with diamond plate floor and attached storage box and cooler.  Also includes 205/50-15 Direzza ZII on Tire Rack 15x7 TR-1 track tires that have tread but are older and would be great for beginning drivers.  Spare tire for trailer included.

The car is a joy and easy to drive and is an apex killer.

In reply to old_ :

No LSD.  Only one corner on all of the tracks i ran on where it would spin the inside tire, turn 6 at AMP a tight uphill off camber.

Yes, I first saw this ad when it was 2 hrs old and I was amazed that it had not yet been scooped up.  If I posted that on the Ohio Miata FB page it would get scooped up fast.

Let me know if you'd like and I'll post it over there.

I am about 90 minutes away and this || close to jumping on it.

Couple questions for OP and the forum in general:

Do you have an interior pic? I'm assuming clean title?

This would be a street car for me, how involved would the roll bar delete be? Same question for swapping steering wheels?

If it was closer to me, I'd find a way to jump on this. GLWS.

Follow up to my recent post. I am headed out of town this weekend so I will have to slot in a number of pieces to make this work either tonight, or on my way back through on Sunday.

I'm not one of those CL flakes, I just have to play schedule tetris. I recently sold a car to forum member @Accordionfolder and it was a smooth, drama-free transaction.

That was a good deal and you were only 25 miles away.  Glad I missed it.
