Already pending sale.

No title on a 2003 Corvette, stolen?  Title loaned?  What could the story be?

The no title thing is weird to me.  Heck of a deal otherwise.

Probably in default and is trying to "sell" it before the bank comes and gets it.  It happens all the time here in FL... However, you can really sell what you don't own.

No title makes it worth zero.  Even if you chop it into a go kart it still could be stolen and it’s now in your garage.

In reply to Datsun310Guy :

And "bought it for less than 1/2 what it's worth without a title" doesn't really leave a whole lot of plausible deniability when "the man" charges you with receiving and concealing stolen property.

I would run the vin. See if it is stolen first. You never know. I have got some great deals because of people just not wanting to deal with stuff.

Pull a copy of the title from the dmv and see if there are any liens. If there is see what the payoff it.

You never know. You may be able to get a really cheep z06.

The only down side is it is not local.
