2007 Dodge Caliber SXT $2200
121159 miles, runs great, power locks/windows, automatic transmission. New battery. Gas gauge does not work; trip odometer does work (functions as a gas gauge). Rust on the driver side door. Engine light is on because of the malfunctioning fuel sensor.
My Brother is selling this for our cousin, located in Minneapolis.
Not my favorite cars but to the public it will sell quickly since it has the right suv profile.
If it were me, I'd fix the fuel sender so as to get the engine light off and then raise the asking price to $3,500 and accept $3k. I don't think it will cost $1k to fix sender but buyers will scare away due to check engine light.
Ideal car for someone's kid to drive to school/work.
In reply to John Welsh (Moderate Supporter) :
That is the plan, my brother is going to get the sender fixed and up the price a bit.
This only scares me because he is not mechanically inclined, he got the recessive gene. He can however write novels, genetics are a mysterious thing.
