2010 Jetta Sportwagen 2.5, cheap

Wife got a 'new' car, so this one must go. First off, it's an automatic. I'm sorry you had to read that. It actually runs really well with the five cylinder 2.5 engine, an engine that does not suffer from timing tensioner issues or turbo problems like the 2.0. This is a workhorse, a beater, a pickup-with-a-roof if you will. It has ZERO rust. It had a minor collision in the front before we had it and has an aftermarket bumper cover and headlamp. I couldn't find any structural repair and even the fragile radiator support appears original. So it's a good solid chassis.

Battery is about 2 years old. Has newer a/c compressor (yup, it works). Four nearly new tires on Audi alloy wheels. Comes with a set of steelies with shot tires good for snows. Rear shocks replaced. No oil leaks because the filter housing and vacuum pump were replaced and rebuilt, respectively. 

The bad:  208,000 miles. Has a torn CV boot. Door trim panels are shedding the cloth trim. World's worst tint job on the back windows by Yours Truly. Wife smoked in it.

Located in south central PA. I'd like to see $2000, but I rarely get what I want in life, so talk to me.

Would be almost perfect for me, as well. Stick would be nice, but minor to overcome. Smoking is worse, but at the price point, I could. Half would be all I could afford, and at that price, I'd keep a cig lit in it , if they wanted me too!!! 
I predict it sells way before I can add to my budget. 

After the line started, I read the ad closer. I had passed it, not realizing the 2K was negotiable price 

I'm in a bind, but could come up there this weekend with $1000, if my third place in line comes up! 

Quick turnaround, goes to good home, etc. 

I'm sure you'll be able to sell it for more, but it's all I could do, so I'll put it out there.

I have a local VW guy who will take it for a grand. I think it's worth more than that. I just thought I'd try here before dealing with the FBM morons.
