<img src=" photo photo2_zpsc4967cbb.jpg" /> Greetings All,

I am listing this for a good friend of mine, I have no financial interest in the sale. Just trying to get the word out for him.

For your consideration- a 1962 Triumph Herald in excellent condition. I believe my friend to be the second owner.

The previous owner had an early/mid 80's Ford three speed auto trans mated to the original engine. All it needs is front brake shoes. Price will fall in the $4,000 range.

If interested, send me a PM or email and I will get you in touch with them!

Other than the automatic conversion (which I'll admit is interesting...), that looks really nice. I'll spread the word around the Spitfire circles.

These cars are finally getting some attention. That price looks pretty good for the one picture shown.

The transmission is interesting indeed.

I guess the PO's wife had a stroke so she couldn't operate the clutch. He had the trans put in so she could still drive it.

Although not really a popular topic, the subject of putting an auomatic behind a Spitfire comes up once in awhile for various reasons, so it would interesting to see/hear how he did it and if the Herald conversion could work in a Spit as well.

Be glad its not a two speed automatic. That would be a fun fly and drive.
