You get a clue of the failed redneck engineering in the vertical Bradley pic.  Original plan was tow strap around the nose and Lil Stampie on a come-a-long anchored to the front of the ladder rack.  I was going to lift up the rear as he pulled it in.  What actually worked was come-a-long on anchored to the front but going over the rear bar of the ladder rack.  That was attached to the tow strap that was wrapped around the rear of the Bradley  We also changed the angle so it wasn't as vertical.  More like 60 degrees..  That worked like a charm.  As he hit the come-a-long it pulled the Bradley up at the proper angle.  I then just had to lift slightly to get it to rotate into the horizontal position.  I then explained to Lil Stampie that he was allowed to tell these stories to his kids when they thought he was making him do crazy stuff.

Sorry but I did consider hauling it up using the cable hard line that was right above it. That strand is rated to hold 5000lbs.

It's heavier than that. To get it vertical took everything I had and at one point because I didn't have good hand holds Lil Stampie had to help. I'm guessing 350-400.  Watch the "buyer" will have a scale and it'll say 100lbs so y'all can make fun of me.

I know the general plan. Not sure if they want to share yet.

Exactly.  Didn't need a berkeley up like that getting back to them.  Now if they weren't giving me a paycheck every two weeks I might have considered it more.

You gotta tape up that nose if you expect any downforce!

I'm sure we can set something up to get a reasonable weight guesstimate. I will be disappointed if it is more than 300lbs. Google isn't turning up anything

That's exactly how I moved my Bradley GT from CT to NY and then from NY to SD.

Well?

Certainly it's unloaded by now.  How much does it weigh?

Less than I anticipated!

I only have one bathroom scale here, so this isn't racecar accurate, but I am seeing 115-118lbs per side with good repeatability. Call it 240lbs total starting weight.
