The weights hanging on the front are probably cost $500.

The weights and the mower on the back would get you 500$ back probably.

also "timing" seems unlikely as its all gears.  Maybe its a smaller issue. Or like the 300$ tractor i bought, it was overheated and tore the cylinder walls up so it was trash. Either way, that's still a solid buy. It's a really great size tractor.

I think the mechanical diesel injector pump is on top of the front weights.  Truly would be a timing issue if so. Injector pumps can be expensive. Still looks like a deal.

I'd check parts availability before buying

Yea there's a reason those farm pro tractors are cheaper than name brands, even when running.

Although figure out a vw diesel swap or something and you might have a cool tractor.

But that still doesn't deal with the little bits. John Deerexand Kubota command a steep price, but, at least you can fix everything.  Even my old Ford 1110 is getting a lot harder to find bits for than my Kubota b5200 or my Deere f935. The only reason I still have the ford is the front end loader. Although,  I still drool over the thought of a skid steer
