Weirdly tempting 

I had the Monza version of that with the Iron Duke. Bought it from a friends FIL. Found out later it had about two pounds of bondo in the right quarter panel. Kinda wish I had kept that one and fixed it right.

So much want, although the visible amount of rust is scary even by my standards.  And getting battered by OBX breezes, there may be nothing left by the end of the year.

Agreed. Having lived in San Diego in a previous life, it never ceased to amaze me how bad beach cars were, in comparison to one's that live a few miles inland 

My mom moved here in 1975 in a 1970 Vega. It was rusted out long before it came to the beach, but then quickly succumbed. She stood on the door sill one day and fell through to the ground.
