That seems like a pretty reasonable price to me. 

I like how the 6.0 in my bus runs. It would get 13-14 mpg towing.

The van engines don't have as many problems with lifting the heads compared to the truck engines. They are detuned a good bit because of the tightness of the engine bay. They have different manifolds and different cooling system. They only make 235hp and 430 tq or about 90 fewer ponies and 100+ less torque. The engine holds up better at the lower power rating. With the mileage that thing is showing, I would bet the problematic EGR and oil coolers have already been replaced.
