These always break their odometers, so why bother.

Can confirm. Odometer broke in my 1990 Volvo 740 T wagon. These things are great. If mine had been in better shape I might still have it.

Good to know.  My Nissan truck went to 342k miles before it broke.

The Volvo odometers typically break around 180k.

That is a solid deal.  Miles pretty much don't matter.  Those front seats look like high they have about 180k worth of use in them.

93 is the last year with a big glovebox.  Also rear side glass antenna, less likely to stop working.  That car was loaded, heated seats = locking diff.  Can't tell if it's got a sunroof, but it honestly otherwise looks pretty clean.  Wish it were closer.

Are these the Volvo that has the PITA AC in dash repair?

No, you’re thinking of the 850/s/v/70 series. Though a heater core/evap isn’t a blast on any of these cars. They pretty much built them around the hvac modules. Though, a 7/940 is much better than a 240 in that regard.

I had a 850 wagon for a bit. Only 185,000 on the clock. Minimal rust, considering it was in FL for several years. Way cool car. Sold when I realized I'd much rather have a 7/940, to swap a V8 into. Paid $800, drove for 6 months, spending about $300 fixing small stuff... wow, my labor is pretty cheap!  Prolly never get a swap done to one, but maybe one day.
