It looks like I will be driving home from the Charlotte match tour with an empty enclosed trailer on Easter weekend. My dd e46 wagon is getting way too rusty to keep driving (trim and handles falling off as there’s no metal). I would like to replace it with something less rusty. The only definite requirement is three real seats. I have two kids and one will be in a car seat for the next 4-5 years. I also already have a 996 that doesn’t fit both kids.
Things that appeal to me right now are older trucks (bench seat a must), full sized broncos, first gen 4runners, Chevy volt, other manual bmws, etc. I can also be easily distracted and buy something completely different. My budget is around $10k, but flexible in either direction. Anyone know of anything or found something cool they would recommend? Will drive a little ways (2 hours) from Charlotte to get there anywhere north of Charlotte on the way home works too.
