What’s a Salmson? Simply put, it’s a French engineering company that started life as a manufacturer of pumps, but later dabbled in airplanes and cars. This car, the 2300 Sport, is noted by the seller to be last automobile model offered by Salmson.

Reported to be one of only 188 examples ever made, this 2300 Sport is powered by a 105-horsepower, twin-cam powerplant backed by a Cotal “clutchless” manual transmission.

The Salmson is eligible for a number of historic racing and rally events including the Mille Miglia and the Rally de Charbonnieres. Plus you might well have the only one there.

Find this 1955 Salmson 2300 Sport for sale from Gallery Aaldering for $93,711.
