Best source is likely to be a factory service manual. Not aware of anyone reprinting them, but used copies aren't too hard to track down.

I can't imagine many wires that would be tough to trace and figure out. My '77 Capri had the 2.3 Lima and it didn't have much to it. I just hooked the vacuum advance to the little vacuum nipple tree, IIRC. Mine never was titled so I never got to drive it more than trouble shooting around the block.

I want to see this Capri where the biggest issue you've got in the restoration project is figuring out the vacuum diagram.

The Capri II's did have some added emission control stuff added to them that did add to the number of vacuum lines under the hood. I owned 3 Mk I's and 1 Mk II. These cars also had a dual diaphragm distributor advance/retard arrangement that depending on engine temp. etc. valves can open and close changing the advance and even retard the timing over coming the mechanical advance. Of course the retard system is for emission purposes only and was removed/disabled by most owners who had any mechanical knowledge as the car ran much better.
