Not to start an argument but this is not a 1967 lotus Cortina.It's a MK1 which ended production in 1966.In 1967 the MK11 was introduced.If like the one I had it wasn't sold untill 1967 and thats the way it was listed on the title.So it's a 1966 MK1 lotus Cortina...and a very nice one at that.
I didn't realize any at all were sold over here (the Lotus model specifically, I mean) so this is really cool and a car worthy of collecting.

About 1965 my mother was shopping for a used car in Miami. It got narrowed down to two cars on the lot. Both were $1,000.
