My Tiger was not a recommended daily driver especially compared to my Triumph TR8's. In the mid 80's I sold a Porsche 356B for $6500 and turned around and bought a Tiger for the same price. Both were clean drivers that I drove regularly. To be honest, the 356B was actually more practical, but whoever is buying a Tiger nowadays is probably likely not planning on driving it all that much.
