We just posted a project car update for the Group 44 GT6 as we make final preparations to bring it to the Lake Mirror Classic Concours and Auction. (Though the GT6 isn't going to auction...yet.)

This year, Group 44 primary Bob Tullius will be the Honorary Chairman for the event, so we extra glad to be part of it. The car is getting loaded on a trailer as we speak, so we hope to see some of you out there!

Bob Tullius is getting around this year. he was the featured speaker at the Limerock Fall festival this year. Jag brought some of his old race cars there including the Silk Cut sponsored Group C/ GTP (funded by Jag, built in the US by Group 44) car and a sweet XKE. Bob did hot laps during lunch breaks and he was available for several meet and greets. We talked about when he ran a Triumph Spitfire at LeMans. The consensus was it seems like a good idea at the time but in retrospect, not the best choice of a ride, especially at night with the differences in speeds on the Mulssane Straight.

The CMS car looked wonderful.

The highlight of the event for me, though, was a Tucker.
