With the car versus car threads on here the last few weeks, I got to thinking when I saw these two cars for sale.
Aside from the obvious (Focus is smaller than the Fusion) does anyone have experience with either / both and can therefore enlighten me? So far, the only other difference I see is that the ST has ABS, while the Fusion doesn't have it...until about '08 (as standard equipment)
I always felt I had more head room in the Focus due to the rounded roof.
I had a 2004 Focus ZX3 and loved it.
I have a SVT Focus and it is a fun car. I think I would like the 2.3L in the ST with the extra torque. The ST may have traction control that is not completely defeatable, which might be annoying.
If you are going to modify or enhance one, I believe you will find more aftermarket/performance parts for the Focus than the Fusion.
