And, really, this could have been our hundred favorite cars. So many cool cars there. 

This one blew a head gasket. I got to help push it off the show grounds–and then down the block and through an intersection.

How about a bonus car–although, really, this should have been a list a hundred cars. (Who assigned this story?)

The Porsche 911 GTI-98–like, the Le Mans-winning Porsche 911 GT1-98–sat on the Radwood show field: no ropes, no handlers. There was a sign, though, saying DO NOT TOUCH. 

The black 996 parked beside it? As the show wound down, the owner parked next to the GT1 for the photo op.

Love the Yellow Lancer Evo V GSR.

That's the sweet spot for Evos IMNSHO. Virtually identical to the Evo VI, but with less fussy front end ... and no "TME Tax" price premium

I talked with the owner. Turns out he lives here in Gainesville. He bought it recently and was rushing to get it ready for the show.

I once did a shoot on the Rohr GT1. It was very cool to have full access to it. 

Somewhere I have a GT1-98 slot car.
