The 99th running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb will take place on June 27 of this year, and the most exciting part may be that, unlike the previous year’s running, the 2021 event will be open to spectators.
Tickets go on sale starting February 1 and include passes for race day, practice days and even overnight camping.

Pikes Peak has been on my list since a long time ago. Even thought it is full paved now I would still love to run there at least once.
Good. I think I'm going to do start line this year. I tried to sneak up to Devils playground last year on a "Hike" but they stopped me.

I wondered about doing that. Hiking from the Crags parking area to Devil's Playground is on my bucket list of hikes, but you really need to be aware of the weather. Not surprised they do not allow that during the race.
I've done the Ascent 3 times. It's a fun hike up Crags as well.
