I had a Kona N and it was an absolute riot to drive. My ex-gf at the time offered to go halfsies with me on a Raptor so that car didn't last long. I really enjoyed that little crossover and can only imagine that the Elantra N is very similar. Plus it's in the cheap category with 100k mile warranty and a track use warranty.
I currently drive a Kona N and absolutely love it. My only issue with it is it's front wheel drive. All that power to the front wheels makes it very difficult to get off the line in a hurry. I am a hot hatch, AWD guy so the GRC has been on my radar since it came out. I gave up on it so far because of the sticker price and the dealer gouging on top. I had no idea dealers with discounting them now. Going to start checking around and see what they are offering. Damn! I was all set to keep the Kona for another year or two.
I'd love to have one! Of course, don't have the $$$$ for one, and we don't have a 3 car garage.
My better half has been hinting she'd like a project that we could work on together, but same thing, we don't have an extra garage spot. I think we are going to work on getting something covered next to the garage this year, but we are both hesitant to spend money at the moment.
Glad you are loving the GRC! Everything I have read about these cars sounds appealing to me. A good friend of mine was shopping this category, I suggested he check out the Toyota, he replied he couldn't get past the looks. I said have you driven one? He refused because of appearance. He ended up with a CTR. The whole looks thing surprised me, his previous car was a Mazda 3. I feel the AWD trumps any appearance factor. I also like the fact that you feel it has a certain rawness to it. Congratulations on a well made purchase! Enjoy!!

Almost missed this thread. One of us! One of us! I bought the OEM Circuit Edition spoiler from Limit +1 for decent $, like $700 I think? They repackage them much nicer than Toyota, clean them up from the scuffs that come from Toyota, and include hardware and instructions. Much nicer with the spoiler, and it's more subtle than others I've seen.

I really need that spoiler. Mine looks so naked without it. Hate that my P+ (which is the current Circuit Edition name) doesn't have one OEM.
Could you tell me, how difficult hte install is?
In reply to nsxmr2elises2000 :
Simple enough that even I could have done it, but I met someone local that had just installed his so I went over to his place. Good instructions, involves removing a bit of plastic trim that gets replaced. Drilled a few holes that were easy to locate using grease or something to coat the screws on the spoiler, you lay it over where it goes, then remove those screws. Drill the spots left by the grease (4-6 I think), pretty simple.

Thanks for the links. What I don't get is drilling the holes.
If my current spoiler is exactly where that Circuit one sits, isn't there holes already that holds the current one?
In reply to nsxmr2elises2000 :
Basically, no. The CE spoiler is bigger. (And you don't remove the current spoiler, this goes over the top of it.)
