looks like i've got a good strong fuel leak above the fuel tank... which makes me think it's NOT the fuel pump just a leak... good and bad...
so question... the fuel sender unit... is it hooked to rest of the system via a hose or is it straight hard line?
I'm not sure, but I think it's a quick connect coupler. And they sometimes break. Dorman (Help, Motormite, etc) has replacement parts available at most auto parts stores.
thanks... looked into it and ya looks like the quick connect... hope it is the hose and not the hard line... saves me buying a pump/assembly or building hard line (tired of that after the stinkin brake lines
well it's hard line... nice and rusty... but of corse the flex line is threaded (looks like fat brake line)... least i managed to get that POS loose on the fuel filter end a while back... now to get it out and new one in... fun
