I have a question.Just finished my rotary powered Spitfire (RotoSpit) autocross car. Anybody have any suggestions for camber settings? The car has been lowered (about 3" off the ground now at the frame) and I am using Avon bias slicks. Thanks Rich

Or just set it to -1 deg and either watch tire wear or temperature across the tire face. Don't over-think it.

In reply to emodspitfire: The tires are 8x13x20 with 8" wheels. It does have the stiffer, decambered swing spring setup. As far as weight distribution, the rotary/transmission combo I figure is pretty close to the stock combo-so whatever a stock spit is!!. Thanks Rich

In reply to emodspitfire: I read the specs on your car. Good to see you are using the stock Triumph diff,I added a Quaife to mine along with race axles and have nowhere near the torque you have so it should be fine. Rich

In reply to noddaz:I added a few more pictures to my garage. Unfortunately I don't have any in action as I haven't driven it yet. Rich

What's your driving style?
Too bad you have the swing spring.
A fixed spring with Camber Compensator gives you more adjustability.

Minus 1 front/rear is a good start.
If it understeers, increase front neg camber, up to -4 max.
If it oversteers, lower the rear to increase neg camber, up to -4 max.

In reply to erohslc: Sorry,I DO have a fixed spring not a swing. Rich
