Yeah, I don't really have any experience doing HPDEs, but I can verify via a motorcycle track day that it is stressful getting passed at speed by better hardware (or in my case, hardware AND talent).
$10k is touching c5 territory. Or squarely in c4 territory with a few grand left to refresh everything. And install a roll bar/cage.I've seen a few manual c4s go for 4-5k during the winter.
