Toyota officially released engine specs for its upcoming 2022 GR 86 today, rating the car’s 2.4-liter flat-four for 228 horsepower and 184 lb.-ft of torque. That’s an increase of 23 horsepower and 28 lb.-ft. over the outgoing 86 and, perhaps not surprisingly, is on par with the new Subaru BRZ.
